هذا الاستثناء نابع من تمردها على كل القواعد، وهو تمرد تدعمه قوى عالمية اكتوبر حرب تستخدمه بشكل استبدادي ومتعجرف، دون أي رادع حقيقي.
فى كتاب " التقصير " الذي الفه سبعه من كبار الصحفيين الاسرائيليين وهم : يشعياهو بن فورات ، يهونتان غيفن ، أوري دان ، ايتان هيفر ، حيزي كرمل ، ايلي لندوا ، ايلي تايور جاء ما يلى : " لقد قاتل المصريون بصورة انتحارية خرجوا نحونا من مسافة أمتار قليلة وسددوا مدافعهم الخفيفة المضادة للدبابات علي دباباتنا ولم يخشوا شيئا كانوا يتدحرجون بعد كل قذيفة بين العجلات فعلا ويستترون تحت شجيرة علي جانب الطريق ويعمرون مدافعهم بطلقات جديدة وعلي الرغم من اصابة عدد كبير من جنود الكوماندز المصريين الا ان زملائهم لم يهربوا بل استمروا في خوض معركة تعطيلية معركة انتحارية ضد الدبابات كما لو انهم صمموا علي دفع حياتهم ثمنا لمنع الدبابات من المرور واضطر جنود المدرعات الي خوض معركة معهم وهم يطلقون النار من رشاشاتهم من فوق الدبابات وحقيقة لم يحدث لنا من قبل في أي الحروب التي نشبت مع المصريين مواجهة جنود علي هذا النسق من البسالة والصمود".
